The Health Equipment Lending Program at Good News Project in Wausau has expanded to offer mobile service. The Mobile HELP Truck will offer stops in 11 communities, including [(insert nearest town here)] two times a month. Good News Project assists about 250 families each month borrow walkers, canes, wheelchairs, bath chairs and more. Each piece of equipment has been donated to them and undergoes a safety check before being cleaned and sanitized. They are open 5 days a week, at their location in Wausau, to serve people in central and northern Wisconsin. They do not offer delivery of the equipment to a home; people need to make their own pick-up arrangements. The new Mobile HELP Truck will operate in Central Wisconsin regularly to bring items to an expanded area. A schedule has been created that lists the communities, locations and times of each truck stop.
