Board Statement Re: 2021 International Service Trips, 6/15/2020: “There will be no January/February 2021 Trips taking place due to the Covid-19 pandemic. During this pause in international programming our staff will focus on reassessing the current needs of our West Indian friends to better serve them.”
Dates & Leadership for 2021 Service Trips – TBD
Dominica-Vieille Case – Dates TBD ($2400 – $2700)
- Group of 8-10 to stay at Augustine’s Guest House in Vieille Case, Dominica
- Many volunteers and house donors for this trip in the past have been from All Saints Catholic Church in Lakeville, MN
- House construction & painting in surrounding communities (2-3 house goal)
- Crafts at area schools
- Trip may require overnight stays while traveling
- Participation Fee: $925 (includes room and board for 2 weeks on the island)

St. Lucia #1 (Castries) – Dates TBD ($1850 – $2500)
- Group of up to 18 to stay at Archdiocesan Pastoral Centre in Castries, St. Lucia
- Basic home construction and special projects (3 house goal)
- Opportunities to visit schools, nursing homes, prison and walk with the Missionaries of Charity
- Trip may require overnight stays while traveling
- Participation Fee: $925 (includes room and board for 2 weeks on the island)

St. Lucia #2 (Castries) – Dates TBD ($1850 – $2500)
- Group of up to 16 to stay at Archdiocesan Pastoral Centre in Castries, St. Lucia
- Basic home construction and special projects (2-3 house goal)
- Opportunities to visit schools, nursing homes, prison and walk with the Missionaries of Charity
- Trip may require overnight stays while traveling
- Participation Fee: $925 (includes room and board for 2 weeks on the island)

Dominica-Castle Bruce – Dates TBD ($2400 – $2700)
- Group of 7 to stay at Tapa’s Guest House in Castle Bruce, near the Carib Indian Territories
- House construction and painting in the Carib Territories and nearby communities (2 house goal)
- Trip will most likely require overnight stays while traveling
- Participation Fee: $925 (includes room and board for 2 weeks on the island)

St. Vincent – Dates TBD ($2400 – $2700)
- Group of up to 10 stay at St. Johns Presbytery; Mespo
- Opportunities to visit schools, hospital, nursing homes, prisons and mental health hospital
- Home construction (2 house goal)
- Trip will most likely require overnight stays while traveling
- Participation Fee: $925 (includes room and board for 2 weeks on the island)

- Watch our video about tropical diseases and risks and/or read our three page 3-page-risk-disclosure (1) document.
- Print out one Application 2020 per person. Complete, sign and mail to Good News Project 1106 Fifth St Wausau, WI 54403 (We accept volunteers based on skill sets needed for each work site, with a preference given to those who apply first.)
- Complete, sign and mail TEAM MEMBER HEALTH HISTORY FORM
- Download and print our INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, sign it and enclose it with your application.
- Download and print our Guidelines for GN Volunteers 2020, sign it and enclose it with your application.
- Review our GNP ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE POLICY. On your application please acknowledge your acceptance.
- Read our financial policy, and submit your $200 (per person) deposit with your application.
**Alternate method(s): Print all documents. Fill them out. Snap photos of all pages and submit them to Susie. Your deposit and balance can be paid using your credit card which includes a nominal upcharge.

Good News Project will contact you via email within 10 days to acknowledge your application. When we are confident that we have enough volunteers to field each group, we will contact you to let you know, so that you can make necessary flight arrangements. We will provide a connection to our travel agent and encourage you to use her. She is well versed in when each member needs to arrive on each island.
