1. Good News Project, Inc. collects your computers and other electronic instruments, seals them in a truck, and sends them to a professional recycling company. There, they undergo a careful process of testing and disassembly for proper disposition of the components.

2.Your data will be completely destroyed, either by physical destruction of the hard drive, or electronic wiping using the type of software approved by the Department of Defense.

3. After testing, good components can be reused.

4. Toxic materials are identified and disposed of properly, keeping them out of the landfill, where they could potentially contaminate ground water.  Steel and plastic components are recycled. Very little remains as "waste."

5. Using our generous volunteers helps us to keep the cost reasonable.

6. We offer convenient location and times, and great customer service.

7. Recycling your old equipment with us will help Good News Project continue to do good work at home and abroad. Thank you!
